![]() You have no control over individual battles, with the two fleets battling until one is defeated or retreats. In Stellaris you manage your fleet composition according to Rock/Paper/Scissors. As you progress in technology you will have access to more cards that can support your overall strategy. You play cards that will help swing a battle in your favor and your ships will fight in 3 lanes, with support, screeners and bruisers all having a role to play. Battles - the card based system that Endless Space 2 has is a lot more interesting than the system in Stellaris. In ES 2, players can build an unlimited number of buildings however, in Stellaris, you can only construct a certain amount of tiles. They determine directly how you'll develop your systems and planets.ĥ. Endless Space 2’s population and species control are more extensive, while Stellaris’ trait system is enhanced by adding new planet kinds and the availability of additional commodities and goods. The availability of strategic and luxury resources infuences the choices you'll make when you move through your campaign. Resources, Trade and Economy - The economy in Endless Space and the trade that you do both internally and externally results in more choices to be made.
